9am Traditional Church
Meeting in person (and on Livestream)
The 9.00am ‘Traditional’ Service is conventional but not stuffy. The service is based on An Australian Prayer Book and includes times of prayer, readings from the Bible and singing of hymns old and new as well as a sermon on the day’s theme. We take Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) every second week.
Our choir of around 40 singers leads the singing of hymns and also presents an anthem each week. All the choral and congregational singing is accompanied by our glorious organ.
We gather to share morning tea and informal fellowship after the service.
If you’re new, you can be assured of a warm welcome. We like to get your contact details so that we can send you regular information about activities and events, but this is not essential; if you simply want to come and worship quietly, you’re just as welcome as if you want to throw yourself into the life of the Parish. There is no formal dress code; some people wear suits and ties and some wear jeans and t-shirts.
Come and join us! We look forward to welcoming you.
