Greg is the Interim Senior Minister at Pymble. His background was in IT and youth ministry. He is a graduate of Moore Theological College, UNE and Macquarie University and has served in churches in Sydney, Jakarta, Indonesia and Armidale. He is married to Christine and they have four adult children and ten grandchildren, all of whom bring him great joy. He enjoys the opportunities to share the great news of God’s amazing love in Jesus with a world that desperately needs to hear about it.
Paul is married to Cathy and they have three adult children. Paul has the joy of being the pastor of the new 9 am Family Church and the new 6 pm Night Church. He has previously ministered in churches in Sydney and Africa. Paul and his family served with CMS as missionaries in Kenya for nearly seven years where he served as a lecturer in a Bible college, pastor, church planter, preacher and Director of Academic Affairs.
Paul loves to teach the Bible to people in different contexts. He and his family enjoy traveling and meeting people from other cultures, and trying their cuisines!
Nigel is our Pathways Minister. His job is to help St Swithun's build better pathways to life in Jesus, into belonging to our church family and on to Christian maturity. Born and bred in Northern Ireland, Nigel studied theology there before going on to serve as a missionary in Spain. He is married to Delia and they have two daughters. His interests are swimming, art and the occasional bush walk.
Caroline has the privilege of being the Children’s Minister taking care of the Bible learning for children of St. Swithun’s. Caroline is a trained and experienced Early Childhood Teacher, previously the Director of Banksia Cottage at Macquarie University, incorporating Vacation and Occasional Care. She has also been a Nanny, and a Boarding House Mistress at PLC Pymble. Caroline is studying part-time at Mary Andrews College, working towards a Certificate in Theology. Caroline treasures her three nephews and her niece, and is under the direction of her Corgi, Tilly, at home.
Tim runs the Youth Ministry program at St. Swithuns, along with his wife, Emilia. Tim has been part of the St. Swithuns congregation for many years, and has previously volunteered for the Children’s ministry. Aside from his work with the Church, Tim is a postgraduate student in Philosophy at the University of Sydney, writing on aesthetics and literature. He enjoys reading, driving, and being outside.
Emilia runs the Youth Ministry program at St. Swithuns, along with her husband, Tim. Emilia grew up in Oxfordshire, UK, where she studied Fine Art. She has only recently moved to Australia following their wedding in July 2019. She has previously volunteered for the Children’s ministry. Aside from her work with the Church, Emilia is a practicing artist, who paints and has worked with encaustic and ceramics. She loves reading and being out in the sunshine.
Chris is passionate about caring for older people, especially those living with cognitive and/or physical issues. She is privileged to be able to minister to and care for the pastoral needs of the older members of our congregation and the older members of our community who are house-bound or live in local residential care facilities. Chris also works for Anglicare as a residential care chaplain.
Fran is responsible for co-ordinating pastoral care across all four congregations in the parish. In her free time, Fran loves spending time with her children and grandchildren and getting in a round of golf when she can.
A man of many talents, Phil stepped down from his role as the Assistant Director of Music at Barker College to run his family hairdressing business at Lindfield. He not only leads our large Choir, but also conducts special events such as Messiah at Easter.
Peter is our principal Organist, who plays each Sunday at 10 am, and at other services. He also composes and arranges music for our Choir and congregation.
Jean enjoys welcoming and helping people which fits in well with her role in managing the property & administrative functions of the Parish. There is never a dull moment in the office with problem-solving and attention to detail on a daily basis to keep her on her toes! Jean is thankful for being able to use her gifts to serve Jesus and to be a part of the staff team and serving at St Swithun’s.
Dineesha is our Administration Assistant serving our church community with day-to-day office duties and Sunday service requirements. Having grown up in Sri-Lanka and lived and worked in New York and Toronto, Dineesha and her husband Dilshan with their two children have made Sydney their home. She enjoys reading, painting and walking in her spare time. Dineesha feels blessed to be serving Christ in this role and looks forward to meeting all of you.
Daniel is in charge of Media and Communications at St Swithun's. He manages this website (hi!), assists with Daily Devotions, and helps manage IT issues in and around the office. Daniel grew up in Sydney and is currently studying Law and Politics at The University of Sydney.
