Swizbang is a day programme for infants and primary school children held on the pupil free day at the start of terms 2 and 3. It’s a day of craft, fun, jumping castles, sports and learning about Jesus.
Every Swizbang has its own exciting theme. Past Swizbangers have been selected for Swizlympics, toughed it out on Bootcamp, fought with Gladiators and presented The ZooKeeper drama on-stage with professional actors.
Swizbang starts with a bang on the church premises at 2a Telegraph Road. After registration, children meet the team and find out more about the theme for the day. Then we split into four age groups that take turns through the day at four different fun activities: games, craft and a jumping castle are usually on the list but don’t be surprised if you end up digging up a dinosaur or something equally extraordinary! Our catering team keep hunger at bay by providing morning tea, a good lunch and a farewell afternoon tea.
Swizbang will be back in 2017 so watch this space for more information and book in early to make sure you don’t miss out. If you’d like to know more about, please contact Becky, our Families Minister, at firstname.lastname@example.org
